She has the intensity of a programmer staring at problematic lines of code. Inspecting. Intense. Burning the words and images into her brain. I glance over her shoulder as best I could. It's photographs of Calista Flockhart. The article discusses whe we should get over our silly obsession over celebrity sizes. How can we get over it when we are assaulted by images of emaciated, unhealthy-appearing people? Are these people supposed to be "beautiful"? Do I really care? Then it hit me. The articles are written for the portion of the public that buys Cosmo. I bet she cares.

All I could do is sigh.
