On Monday evening, I purchased a Washi box craft set from a local Japanese bookstore. It consisted of all the parts necessary to create a Washi box, a paper and cardboard trinket box that can hold knick-knacks and jewelry.

On Tuesday evening, I constructed it. It was good feeling it in my hands, working with the material. I didn't do a stellar job on it, but I was proud of the final product. "I made this."
