13 G33KS (28 May 99)
I was invited to join 13 G33KS by it's founder, Matt Coburn. I've always considered myself a geek and in the past few years, have become quite web-savvy. It's funny how my website doesn't demonstrate my knowledge, primarily because I want my website to be as visible to as many people as possible. So, I stick to HTML 3.2. It's only because I know Matt personally (and help him with his JavaScript and DHTML needs).

Fontaholics Anonymous (16 May 99)
I've always loved fonts and collect them to give myself some variety for my web designs. I've recently discovered a passion for dingbats. I knew I was a fontaholic the first time I paid for a font (I previously only used freeware fonts). So, I applied for membership.

Digital Divas (6 Mar 99)
I've admired Digital Divas from afar for a long time, but I never had the gumption or confidence to apply. In early February, I bit the bullet and did. I discovered on Saturday several email messages from the Digital Divas welcoming committee. I was on cloud nine! I even made a showcase page.

Chick Sites (23 Jan 99)
I was invited to join this group by the ringmaster. I struggled, trying to figure out under what category I would put this under. It is a webring. It is an award. After some consideration, I decided to create the category of "membership". Although participation in the group is purely voluntary, I decided to get involved as much as I could. I know I'm fairly chatty on this group's listserv.
