I've seen .fiesty. before and I liked the quality of sites in the ring. Some sites have excellent design. Others have great content. Many have both. I was nervous that I wasn't going to get the award and surprise, I got it! Yay.

GA's Web Award (15 Dec 98)
I didn't think I was going to get this award. Glenn Akiyama's site still fills me with awe when I see it. The first time I saw his site, I was terribly intimidated. It was beyond what I thought I was technically capable of doing. I revisted his site again and this time I had the gumption to apply and be proud of whatever he would give me. To my surprise, I found this beautiful award in my mailbox. I am so honored.

Best of the Web - Gold Award '99' (23 Jan 99)
I applied for this award last year and was told that my JavaScript was acting funky and received the Bronze. If I could improve the JavaScript to not break on browsers, I would get the award. So, I turned back to my JavaScript and scrutinized it. I also looked at some ideas of JavaScript referencing from other sites that perform a similar dual graphic mouseover. I adjusted it a bit and resubmitted, and received the Silver! This is a professional award, where the award is "a professional opinion of NWS". It's nice to receive accolades of my work as professionally good.

CoolSTOP Best of the Cool Award (28 Jan 99)
Wow! I am the featured site for January 28th. I've been labeled the "Best of the Cool Awards". Thank you very much Joe Jenett and CoolSTOP. With every award I get, I become more confident in my abilities as an artist and a writer. I have a great deal of confidence in my abilities as a web developer and programmer... but not as much in my ability to put up meaningful, interesting content. It's these accolades which tell me that I probably am doing something right.

Help me! I've been Totally Frogged! I love Kimberly (the Frogfrau)'s website. It's beautiful. It's got frogs! She graced me with one of the two awards for February. I am honored.
